Since 2003 Linea di Confine, for the Rubiera Observatory project, has asked young Italian photographers to document the changes that the high speed train tracks have caused in the Rubiera area. In 2007, it was the turn of Massimo Sordi, who was given the task of studying changes in the local travel network, brought about by the destruction of the Fontana flyover and the building of a new underpass on the provincial road 85.
